The project called "Youth in step with tradition" Interreg-IPA-CBC HUSRB
/1903/33/0112 has come to an end. The partners were the youth organization DALISZ from Bordanje
and the ceremony of Etnolife from Subotica. The results of joint work, which included numerous programs,
they were also presented at the final conference that was held in Bordanje in the large hall of the home
of culture, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. At the official closing of the project with the beginning of
ten hours, more than fifty guests, camp participants and volunteers from both participated
foreign borders. After the opening, the president of DALISZ association Dr. Aniko Juhas and
after the welcoming speech of Istvan Hulo from Subotica, expert lectures were held.
First, Eszter Pancza-Kovács presented the example of Serbian-Hungarian cooperation
of the famous spa resort Morahalom.
Arpad Vajda, secretary of the Csongrad-Čanad County Crime Prevention Council, held
interesting lecture: Youth as catalysts. The mayor was among the speakers
Bordanja Gabor Tanač and Deputy Mayor of Bordanja Children and Youth Self-Government
Vida Patricija, who presented the program: Youth and tradition in Bordanje, Lehel Mate spoke
about the work of the Youth Municipality and its role in the life of the settlement. Presentation by Kata Virag Vasuth
coordinator of the project called "The role of archaeological parks" as mediators of value -
with a special reference to the work of the newly opened "Sarmati" park in Bordanje. Marianna Gubik
the director of the cooperative Srce peščara (Homokhátság Szive) spoke about the creation activities
values in the cooperative. It was interesting that at the reception the participants could taste some of the
products. At the end of the final conference, a short film about the results of the project was shown.
After the cultural and artistic program of the Duhaj orchestra, the participants visited the restored ethnic house
Farmhouse Hermina.
